Professor Brannon Beliso, is the owner and head instructor of ONE Martial Arts.  He began his martial arts training in 1967, at the age of five, with his father and first instructor Professor Lenny Beliso.  He helped run the family business, Beliso Karate School, training, teaching and earning his black belt in 1979.  Beliso won over 100 trophies in such major tournaments as the Internationals and the California Karate Championships. He studied Kung Fu, Brazilian Jujitsu, Arnis, Boxing and Kickboxing. Professor Beliso briefly owned a school in Southern California in 1980. He went on to study and instruct with Grandmaster Rick Alemany for the next 22 years, earning a 8th degree black belt and the rank of Professor in 2008. Professor Beliso most recently spent three years studying privately with Great Grandmaster Ralph Castro furthering his knowledge in Shaolin Kenpo. He remains true to his belief, that "In order to be a good teacher, you must forever be a student".

Professor Beliso's reputation and credentials span forty two years as an instructor, competitor, motivator and innovator of cardio kickboxing and the martial arts.  He is certified by the American Council on Exercise, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America. Professor Beliso is an active member of the Martial Arts Industry Association and has been a member of the Professional Martial Arts College, the National Association of Professional Martial Artists and the Martial Arts Teachers Association. 

Professor Beliso currently owns and operates ONE Martial Arts in San Francisco, teaching his interpretation of Kenpo Karate to people of all ages for the past ten years. Professor Beliso has written an instructional manual, produced a series of instructional DVD's and a video.  Beliso designed a line of equipment and apparel for cardio kickboxing. His award winning martial arts and fitness programs have been featured on Evening Magazine, CBS Morning News, KRON 4 Health, Bay Area Parent Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, 7 x 7 Magazine and Filipinas Magazine.  Professor Beliso is a featured writer for Martial Arts Success Magazine. He is a motivational speaker having presented at Microsoft and Barclays Global.  Beliso is an upcoming speaker for the 2010 Martial Arts Supershow in Las Vegas. 

Professor Beliso is the founder/creator of One Merit Badges, a green based company, that provides an innovative life skills education system for children.  His unique system is in place in martial arts schools in Australia, Canada and throughout the United States.  It is featured at the Disney's Martial Arts Festival near orlando, Florida. 

Professor Beliso is a devoted husband and father of two sons.  He is dedicated to character development and has been "Helping People Be Their Best."
