Parent's Words

Once in awhile I am so humbled by God's love and the fact he allows me to teach martial arts. I recently received this card from one of my student's parents and I had to post it. They wrote, "You have made such a change in our son's life. He is a completely different kid from the day he started three months ago. We are truly blessed that you have entered our lives". I thank them for the kind words but I believe it is I who is truly blessed...

Random Thoughts 1

Medical studies have proven that surgery patients who practice a spiritual or religious belief have a higher success and recovery rate. I believe in God. Christmas celebrates the birth of Christ. Christmas also represents a time of giving. God gave us his only son, knowing he would be crucified for his beliefs. To me, this is the most unselfish act of giving I can witness to. I am a father, and the thought of my son being born to suffer so? I would not choose that for him. I am humbled by God’s unconditional love. He gives so unselfishly. I pray the war ends soon. I pray all the wars end soon. Faith gives us hope. To be hopeless, or without hope, is a place of despair. It is dark and alone. Live with faith, and you will always stand in the light. To see you again, would make me smile. I miss you so much. Gratitude is the cup I drink from and marriage quenches my thirst. This makes me happy. Our time here is precious, and truly a gift. Nurture dreams with discipline and they are sure to come true…
